The Council meets the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall unless otherwise specified |
The City Council is the City’s legislative body. It consists of seven Councilors, including the Mayor. They are elected at large and serve for two-year terms. A majority of all the members elected to the Council shall constitute a quorum to do business.
The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor are selected by vote of the members of the Council The Mayor presides over the meetings of the Council and serves as head of the City’s government for all ceremonial affairs.
