The Department of Public works is responsible for the maintenance of all City owned buildings, streets, parks and equipment. In addition, the Department provides Solid Waste Management Services of garbage collection and disposal, recycling, and litter collection throughout the City. The Public Works Department's operational divisions are: Administration, Building Maintenance, Highway Maintenance, Parks Maintenance, Solid Waste & Recycling and Mechanical Maintenance.
