Emergency Communications Section |

The Emergency Communications Section is responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and routine calls for Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) within the City of New London. The Police Department uses a Computer Aided Dispatch System that assists in receiving, tracking and dispatching calls for service for Police, Fire and EMS. The City operates an Enhanced 911 Public Safety Answering Point for the City of New London. The 911 system is integrated into the Computer Aided Dispatch System to ensure accurate call entry and faster response times to calls for service |
