Be assured, we will be proactive and vigilant in our efforts to best protect the wellbeing and safety of all our residents, visitors, pets, and wildlife.


We have created a specifically-designed, coyote-related form. If you see or have an encounter with a coyote, please fill out the referenced form with as much information as possible, and submit it to the New London Police Department.

Coyote Incident Report Form



The New London Police Department underwent an on-site assessment in May 2015 as part of a program to achieve Tier I Re-accreditation by verifying that it continues to meet professional standards procedures that are accepted or prescribed as being correct and the most effective in the Law Enforcement industry.

The state accreditation program is administered by the
Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POSTC).

To protest a parking ticket, a Request for Parking Ticket Hearing form must be submitted within 48 hours of the receipt of the ticket. The form may be accessed electronically by clicking on the link above. Alternatively, the form may be obtained in person from the address above or from the Records window at the police department.

The form should be completed and returned along with the original ticket to the New London Parking Authority at the address listed above.
